What made you decide to work for DekBoard?
I decided to work for DekBoard for their great forward-looking outlook on the decking industry. With a passion for decking myself, DekBoard seemed the perfect company to work for.
What do you enjoy about working at DekBoard?
I enjoy the responsibility of the role DekBoard have given me. I thrive on the day-to-day challenges in my role, and I enjoy waking up and going to work every day which it is very hard to find yourself a job in which you do. I’m proud to represent the company each day.
What does your role involve, or what could a typical day look like for you?
In my role as an Installations Manager, I oversee day to day running of our Southwest Depot, making sure my fitters are set up correctly for the day and ready to complete their jobs for that day. A typical day would be to arrive before my staff are due insuring everything is set for them, doing build drawings, kit lists and day-to-day admin that comes with being an Installation Manager.
How do you achieve success in your role at DekBoard?
I achieve success in my role by being professional, approachable and keeping the highest standards possible daily. With years of experience in the industry, my knowledge of products and deck building is second to none. This in turn gives DekBoard Southwest the best possible success rate with our deck fitting capabilities.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to go sea swimming and play badminton. I really enjoy keeping up a healthy balanced lifestyle.
